The iconic document used by German industrialist Oskar Schindler to safeguard the lives of over 1,000 Jews during World War II, is being sold to the highest bidder on eBay:

California collectors Gary Zimet and Eric Gazin, who own one of the four known copies of the "Schindlerjuden" roll call, have set an initial asking price of $3 million, but hope to bring in more than five when the auction ends in nine days. "We decided to sell the list on eBay because it has over 100 million worldwide members, and this is a global story," Gazin said when asked by the New York Post why eBay. "There are billionaires using the site, wealthy celebrities." For the record, the other three copies of the list are located in museums: Two in Israel's Yad Vashem, and another in the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum near the National Mall.
